Enablers & barriers to speaking up
Overwhelmingly employees will agree that speaking up about misconduct or a breach of our values is the right thing to do. However, when faced with that situation a number of our people may elect not to speak up. In this activity we ask our teams to consider what is enabling speak up in our areas of the business and what are the barriers to speaking up. Once participants have given their feedback we then look at how we can increase the enablers and weaken the barriers.

The standard you walk past
We are judged not just on what we do but also on what we let happen. Using a simple, but powerful quote as the catalyst (“the standard you walk past, is the standard you accept”) we examine this issue and what any of us may inadvertently be walking past and what this says to others.
